This seems to be one of those films people either love or hate. For those who hate it, I'm bringing this poll back to the top. 
One of the things I've always liked about film music is that the entire experience can be really bizarre sometimes. Burt Lancaster as Moses on the front of the Morricone LP, "Lord Love A Duck" with the tagline on the back cover "...it's about a guy who suddenly goes start raving sane and commits a mass murder. It's a comedy." And who can forget the Rod Steiger dialogue from the soundtrack LP, "W.C. Fields And Me"? Speaking of Rod Steiger, the hands on the cover of "No Way To Treat A Lady", always freaked me out. Speaking of serial killer comedies, If not mistaken, Tony Curtis murders Zsa Zsa Gabor in "Arrivederci Baby", hell of a Dennis Farnum comedy/cartoon/jazz score. Jack Lemmon accused of putting Virna Lisa in the gloppida gloppida machine in "How To Murder Your Wife" is always fun to think about while listening to the Neal Hefti score.
CD release of Meyer Kuperman's Black Like Me seems inevitable. Who would have thought the Paul Glass score for Lady In A Cage would ever see the light of day?
James Whitmore as a black man? Priceless. Meyer Kupferman's weird, avant garde, beatnik jazz score? Exceptional!
