Just a note to say that I'd really like Intrada to consider releasing some of John Dankworth's scores. Much of his stuff is obscure and maybe difficult to licence but here's a list of some of the possibilities. Return From The Ashes (1965)-UA Salt and Pepper (1968)-UA Modesty Blaise (1966)-Fox Fathom (1969)- Fox The Magus (1968)-Fox Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (1960) – Continental Releasing The Servant (1963) – Landau Releasing Organization Darling (1965) – Embassy Pictures [Epic LP] Sands of the Kalahari (1965) – Paramount The Idol (1966) – Embassy Pictures [Fontana LP] Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment (1966) – Cinema V Accident (1967) – Cinema V [Island LP] The Last Safari (1967) – Paramount The Last Grenade (1970) – Cinerama Releasing Perfect Friday (1970) – Chevron Pictures 10 Rillington Place (1971) – Columbia |

SANDS OF THE KALAHARI and THE LAST SAFARI would make a fun Paramount twosome. |

Fathom and Modesty Blaise would make a sensible Fox twofer. Just re-mastered LP presentations would be fine. |

I see 10 Rillington Place on your list. I've been thinking about that one for years. Great score for a brutal and sad, true story. The films follows closely the actual occurence, John Hurt strongly resembles Timothy Evans who was unjustly hanged for murders he did not commit. A great Richard Fleischer film. |

If the tapes exist 'The Mugus' could be a good bet for a release. The book and the film have some sort of cult following so the potential buyers could be more numerous than hard core film score enthusiasts. Stranger things have happened.....maybe! |
