I can see other forum members right now telling me to shut up and be happy with what's given me. And maybe it's already happened as I haven't bought a new release in a little while, but I'm just wondering if it would be a big deal to go back to the traditional jewel cases without the little bar that holds the booklet in. I cherish each one of these CDs like my babies and the artwork/liner notes are half the experience for me, but that little bar usually makes it such a b*tch to get the booklet out of the case, it kills me to put dents and dings in it every time I try to get it out. I know I'm not the only one either, because I see the same dents on used copies that I buy off eBay or other sites.
Again, I know people are gonna rip me a new one and tell me the booklet shouldn't even matter, it's all about the music...but if the booklet doesn't mean anything to you, then you shouldn't care if the jewel case is altered in any way. Again, not a big deal at all and maybe it's already changed. I saw that La La Land's cases were different on a couple of the new releases I got from them, maybe Intrada's done the same or plans to?
