Since everybody's throwing out Holy Grails, figured I'd toss some of mine in. Some of them would have to be wrestled away from Varese, so I'll probably have to wait for the "Encore" series to release them.

1) The Nightmare on Elm Street scores: (Charles Bernstein, Badalamenti, etc.) - Complete, each on it's own Intrada Special Collection disc.

2) Ghostbusters - (Bernstein) - Complete score, Intrada Special Collection

3) Tuff Turf (J. Elias - 1985)

4) Swamp Thing (Manfredini - 1982)

5) A River Runs Through It - (Isham - 1992) My favorite Isham score. Needs a proper full score treatment w/o source cues.

6) Beverly Hills Cop - (Faltermeyer - 1984)

Great list! I would really like a complete Beverly Hills Cop and Swamp Thing with a re-release of Ghostbusters.

I feel the same about the complete Elm Street scores, but I am much less than optimistic about those seeing the light of day.

Ghostbusters is pretty compressed if compared to the original "songtrack" album. Perhaps that's what you are hearing. In all honesty I was so thrilled it was released at all that my hatred for "the loudness war" was (and is) suppressed is it's case.

A complete Elm Street part 2 (Christopher Young) would probably be in my top five - of expanded score's at least. One of the missing cues is one of the most memorable. Possibly my favourite horror score of all time.
