I would really love to get hold of the score, but strangely it's never been available on CD or record which is really strange, as it's scary as hell. I prefer it to the original score and it makes the movie even more terrifying. Anyone else agree? |

I have brought this up from time to time. Though I love the first installment of the Amityville saga... I really think Lalo Schifrin's second (though it is a prequel to the 1979 movie) score is even better. Beautiful. Haunting. Disturbing. Just a great score that really needs to be released. It is 30 years old this year... ??? Hint. Thanks for bringing this up.
