Doug, I hope you guys haven't abandoned non-Disney scores from the 60s and before, altogether. This is a very special score, by the vastly underrated Frank Skinner, and it would be glorious in a stereo release mastered from the original elements. I consider it one of the last iconic 60s scores (which also includes Ron Grainer's "The Moonspinners" from Disney) that is unrepresented on CD. |

Film4 in the UK shows a very nice looking HD transfer of Shenandoah every now & again. I saw it a couple of weeks ago for the first time in ages, & it does have a lot of very good music. Universal 1965, I wonder if there are good music tapes still around? In fact I've seen (mostly) great looking HD transfers of all the films in the Universal DVD James Stewart Western Box, so I'm hoping a Blu-ray box will show up before too long. |

Yes, definitely SHENANDOAH. ROOSTER COGBURN by a favorite at Intrada, Laurence Rosenthal, is also on my most wanted list. I hope you will get to at least one of these soon. And keep those Miklos Rozsa re-recordings coming. Thanks for all the great releases you have given us in the past. |

Would Universal be interested in an unpaid volunteer in publishing and asset coordination at their music department to speed things along?  In all seriousness, Intrada would no doubt love to release all of this as quickly as possible. They can only move as fast as the studios and music companies allow them. Not all are like MGM and Paramount. |
