What a score by David Foster on this one. The soundtrack CD has been out of print since the 90s and can be had for a monster price. There are many cues that he wrote for this that aren't on that version. Anyone like this?

I love that score and have the symphonic version of Water Fountain from David Foster's Symphonic Sessions album. I'm also a proud owner of the original soundtrack, a perfect example of great songs from the 80's !

I watched this movie again recently & my collection kraves for this score.

Yes, I agree with these posters. Great soundtrack songs and lovely score. Like most of us on here, I prefer a score to a song soundtrack. However, since I love 80s so much, this is a solid compilation in my collection. David Foster shines with his synth romance themes. I don't know how much total score is in the movie, but one track that would have to be required in a score release, is the instrumental of "I burn for you," when MJ Fox grabs Helen Slater and they make out on the boat. I would welcome a score release of this with open arms! If the total score is pretty short, maybe it could be joined with St. Elmo's Fire. I would hope so!

I agree 100% with everything you said. That's cool how you mentioned the instrumental rendition of "I Burn for you" when MJ Fox and Helen Slater kiss on the boat as it passes under that bridge on the Hudson. Well done, great reply! It would be great to package this with St. Elmo's Fire and Stealing Home!

I have the CD. Got it for £12 on amazon, so it was quite cheap. It's a great 80s score though and an expanded release would be awesome!
