I don't think this one has ever been released, has it?

I think it's rumored that the masters are lost/destroyed, but who really knows. Until an official source comes out confirming the loss, I'll continue to believe the masters exist in some form. The Blu-ray is coming out this year for the film's 50th Anniversary. Maybe we'll see the score released, too? If so, I hope that groovy song is included.

I don't have the DVD. Do the menus feature music from the film or the song?

According to blu-ray.com, the release date for the Blu-ray is 2012. I'm guessing sometime in October since it's considered a horror movie.

I'd like this released to and I hope that the masters aren't lost or destroyed. Even if they are, take the score from the film stem. It will take a lot of work but it will be worth it. I don't know why this isn't done more often.

Yes that's exactly what I mean. If it's was worth it for Jerry Goldsmith's scores, it's worth it for this score.

Yes. La La Land has done that for Goldsmith's score for "Seconds" and "Warning Shot". Takes work to get them and plus some of the dialogue bleeds into the music tracks on the album but you really have to listen for it. I think it's a worthy process. I can think of several scores that can be retrieved this way.

Baby Jane score would definitely be something I'd buy.

Anyone else here have family members similar to the characters in that film?
