Rowdy Herrington directed Road House that you Intrada hamsters released the Michael Kamen score to. So it would be fun if you could release scores to two other Rowdy Herrington films or at least one of the two that I had in mind. Those two Rowdy Herrington films I would love to see a score release to is: Striking Distance (Brad Fiedel wrote one of his best scores to this one). Herrington also directed a movie called Gladiator (long before the Ridley Scott movie) and that movie initially had a score by Jerry Goldsmith but he as most of us film music fans know was later replaced by Brad Fiedel. So it would be cool if it would be a double CD with Jerry`s score on one and Fiedel`s score on the other. |

Yes yes yes , I have actually watched both Gladiator and Striking Distance again on DVD in the last month and agree here... Gladiator is Fiedel in pure T2 mode and Striking D is I think his most challenged score before his retirement... Talking about Rowdy Herrington, I would love the score to one of his more forgotten movies, JACK´s BACK composed by an for me unknown composer named Danny DiPaola (and I love the main and end song Red Harvest sung by Paul Saax and written by Saax & Paola) |
