After today's reissuing of Predator after only a year, I felt it was good to mention this. The "Definite Edition" is still in print over in Europe, as the UK Amazon site has it. I think the only new copies here in the US are actually imports. The DCC classics "Original soundtrack" has been out of print since 2000 or so, and has the club songs from the Tech Noir on there. Since Commando and Predator have been given so much attention, I think the Terminator ABSOLUTELY needs it as well! The complete score remastered plus all the 80s new wave songs from the soundtrack on a second disc? Can we dream? |

I want this, too. I don't own it in any form, and would really love to add it to my collection for a decent price. |

I would like to see a label have the final say on this with a 2-disc release of the complete score with songs. Like with Fright Night, I think Fiedel's score is well supplemented by the songs featured in the film. "You've got me burnin'... you've got me burnin'... you've got me burnin'... in the third degree!" ![]() |

"in the third degree"? I could never make out that part, lol... thanks ![]() Anyway, I agree with this release. One of my favorite moments in the film is the factory scene, starting right when Linda Hamilton is shown recovering from the terminator's pipe-bomb explosion. It of course leads up to the torso leaping at her and the whole "crawling away from it" sequence. I listened to the track on YouTube and I don't know what source they used but even though it starts out as heard in the film, it ends up as a complete disaster. It just becomes a jumbled mess of instruments/layers. It's awful and definitely varies from what's played in the film. |

That "disaster" you're referring to is what Fiedel created. The reason it's different in film is because of the fact that Cameron et al. thinned it out when putting it into the film. The same was done for "Future Flashback/Terminator Infiltration" and "Police Station/Escape from the Police Station". What you hear in the movie is in there, but the film mix is missing a LOT of what Fiedel wrote. |

I concur with this request, especially as neither release contains the complete score. |
