When will the LETHAL WEAPON score get a re-issue? I don't want to pay $150 on eBay. (I chose to buy Varese's defective DIE HARD score release back in '02 instead of LETHAL WEAPON. I'm still kicking myself for it.) |

Unsurprisingly, things have been quiet about this score. It seems like a La-La Land project to me. I would especially like La-La Land to do it if they find it feasible to release a decently priced set for all four films. After all, there is a lot of good unreleased music in the sequel scores. |

Yes please! A re-release of the expanded CD issued on the Bacchus label will do for me, & I'd buy the follow ups (esp. 4 which never had a release). It'll happen. |

Agreed that this seems like something La La Land would do. After they released Commando, Die Hard and then Friday the 13th it seemed like they were just going on eBay, seeing what was selling for huge money and re-issuing it. I've kind of been hoping that was the case and ridiculously expensive eBay titles like Lethal Weapon, Ghostbusters, Romancing the Stone, Joe Vs. The Volcano, The Burbs, Knight-Rider, etc. might be next. |

I just noticed that La-La Land gave some details for next year's releases. Among the projects outlined are "a handful of 3-4 disc sets" and at least one Michael Kamen release. I've got an even better feeling that we'll see a 4-disc set for the Lethal Weapon series next year. Just a hunch on my part, amplified by my belief that the sequels wouldn't sell that well on their own at $20 a piece. |
