Its amazing that for such a hugely poopular film that the great score by Harold Faltermeyer has never been given a complete score release.Intrada, this is one of my grails and im sure would be a very popular release for soundtrack collectors everywhere. Although having said that, any unreleased Faltermeyer would be great. |

The latest I read about it was that this and other Faltermeyer scores are mired by all kinds of obstacles. I don't doubt that we would have seen Beverly Hills Cop released already if things weren't made so difficult. |

LLLR isn't releasing them. Faltermeyer spoke too soon. When a fan questioned MV about it, at the FSM forum, he said that they were not because of issues. |

This would be amazing. Also, BH Cop II, Fletch, Fletch Lives, and Top Gun! All those Faltermeyer scores need to be released. Doesn't La La Land have access to these scores by him? Also, when is the Terminator gonna be given it's full due? |

TNewman, we need to have all those scores, now! Especially Fletch, BH Cop, and most of all, Top Gun. The soundtracks to BH Cop and Top Gun are great, but the synth scores are amazing. Remember the "cleared to fly" synth build-up when Maverick is cleared of any wrongdoing at the hearing? And the part after he talks to Viper about dropping out when he watches the planes fly over Miramar for that brief interlude? Gotta have those....!! |

The only thing that worries me is that most of these soundtracks had so many pop songs on them, that I wonder if there's enough score music to fill a CD and that brings me to my biggest fear...putting two movie scores onto one disc. The collector in me can't stand that. I'd rather they just had 8 tracks of the complete score and round out the rest of the disc with additional/alternate cues, composer interview or outtakes. Just no more two separate movies on one disc please. |

Oh, there's no doubt that both BH Cop I and II would compromise a single CD each. The score for both can encompass that. Bring on Top Gun, Fletch, Fletch Lives and perhaps even Running Man as well! |

BHC I/II and Fletch are something of holy grails for me. |
