I really hope MV releases all the Faltermeyer stuff. How many legal issues can possibly get in the way? BH Cop, Top Gun and Fletch are essential, I believe. I go at it from this bit of logic: if the Black Hole can finally see its way onto CD, then ANYTHING can!

I think it's a given that we'll get those scores eventually due to their popularity from a popular period, although I certainly wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them. I've said it before that I would be absolutely elated if a label worked on "Faltermeyer at Paramount and Universal" box sets.

It is a shame when the composer/performer seems so willing to get his music out to us and other barriers hold things up. But, for now, there is a lot to enjoy.
