I think the score to Pitch Black is one of the most effective sci-fi scores in modern times. There is a boot of the complete score, but it needs to be done right. I would have said that a run of 1000 copies should sellout in a reasonable amount of time, but those numbers are meaningless now if you sell enough to make a decent profit. A release of this would be a nice branching out for Intrada in terms of its era, all licensing aspects permitting. |

Riddick 2 has started doing prelimenary filming. One can only hope Revell will score that, too, and follow up with the excellent job he did on the first. This is proving to be an excellent film series for him to be attached to. His score for PB (not Peanut Butter, of course) is one of my favorites by him. |

I wonder how legal was the promo of Pitch Black/Bride of Chucky that was around (I think both FSM and BSX had it)? It says for promo only, but shouldn´t this be classified the same as the recording sessions of those two scores that shouldn´t have made it out to the public?? Pitch Black is along with The Crow and Dead Calm Mr Revells best score and I love the Race against the Sun track the most...A great movie too... |
