I had mentioned this over at FSM...
This was for a 1984 tv movie that aired on ABC. Starred Jack Scalia, Madeline Stowe, Jennifer Warren and Leslie Bevis (among others). Shot by the great Dean Cundey, and scored to the hilt by Basil Poledouris.
The score was richly textured and quite exciting. Kind of a hybrid of CONAN, RED DAWN and FLESH AND BLOOD (most like the latter)... with a most memorable main theme. The other standout in the score was thematic material when Jennifer Warren was onscreen.
With all the Basil Poledouris scores seeing the light of day from Intrada, La La, etc... this would be an awesome addition to film music collectors. A real gem of a score.
