I just recently watched this 23-minute animated short, and I would love to see Newman's music released on disc to hear in remastered sound.

It seems to be very obscure as it wasn't released on any home video format outside of Japan - but it was leaked onto the internet here:

Hmmm, Newman doing Scheherazade, eh?

A quick aural sampling makes me think of, if anything, Heavy Metal....which is never a bad thing. 23 minutes = great addition to a 45 minute score.
