I wouldn't be surprised if all the major labels have considered this score, but I thought that it at least deserved a mention here. I recently watched the film for the first time in years, and realized how fun of a listen it would be in album form. It is probably my favorite 80s Horner score after 48 Hrs. and Natty Gann. |

Roger actually did look into this title at one point, but apparently the rights holders can't be found. Neither Sony/Columbia, nor HBO, nor Disney, nor Granada Ventures claims ownership. |

After ALIEN, Back To The Future, tonight's announcement of The Black Hole and a successful finding of the rights owners, there's no doubt that somewhere, somehow a source of the Volunteers masters will surface in the near future. BTW, who was the owner of the music rights after all? |
