Intrada Soundtrack Forum

Some of the Pink Panther films, have already had decent releases:

THE PINK PANTHER STRIKES AGAIN (Ryko Disc)
TRAIL OF THE PINK PANTHER (Intrada - who?, never heard of them! )
CURSE OF THE PINK PANTHER (Quartet)
and
INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU (Kritzerland)

Of the remaining films, I would love to see expanded releases at some point, of the following:

THE PINK PANTHER (1963)
THE RETURN OF THE PINK PANTHER
REVENGE OF THE PINK PANTHER

The previous releases of these, seemed to be missing large chunks of the intrigue/action/suspense music, for starters.

And poor old A SHOT IN THE DARK, still remains unreleased.

I remember reading that Mancini considered this the best thing he did, and there's even a photo of him holding a big stuffed Pink Panther.
