Intrada Soundtrack Forum

2013 is the 50th birthday of the sword in the stone, and also the 40th birthday of Robin Hood.
Intrada would bring us a very good surprise if the soundtrack of these two Disney animated movies, never released before, would be available this new year.
And it would be a beautiful tribute to the fabulous composer George Bruns.
Come on Intrada give us this present !

These are definitely two Disney scores I wanna see released, for a few reasons.

1. The Sword in the Stone won an Oscar for best score, plus the songs are by the Sherman Brothers.

2. Robin Hood's score is definitely one I have always wanted as well. (Little known fact, they are both done by the same composer, George Bruns).

Hear, hear! I would be so down with these two. Especially Robin Hood.

I know Roger is a fellow George Bruns admirer, and those two scores are the oldest classic animated scores remaining to be saved from aging in the vaults of Disney... 2013 is maybe the year, let's hope ! I know it's in the range of our heroes here at Intrada and in Randy Thornton's too at Disney. Together they can accomplish anything.

I'm not forgetting about all of those "less classic" movies, but The Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood seem both more important to me in the catalogue of Disney classics.

Both of these films are largely mistreated by Disney
These scores as well as Bedknobs and Broomsticks......and Petes Dragon would be nice to have sometime in the future
