Ok, here's my incredibly vain hope... Steven Spielberg on TV: The Scores Containing as many of the following scores as still survive: Billy Goldenberg - Night Gallery: Eyes Leonard Rosenman - Marcus Welby, M.D.: The Daredevil Gesture Robert Prince - Night Gallery: Make Me Laugh Billy Goldenberg and Robert Prince - The Name Of The Game: LA 2017 Gil Melle - The Psychiatrist: The Private World Of Martin Dalton Gil Melle - The Psychiatrist: Par For The Course Billy Goldenberg - Columbo: Murder By The Book Elmer Bernstein - Owen Marshall, Counselor At Law: Eulogy For A Wide Receiver Billy Goldenberg - Duel Wladimir Selinsky - Something Evil Gil Melle - Savage Also potentially (but not essentially, as they've already been released), for completist purposes... John Williams - Amazing Stories: Ghost Train John Williams - Amazing Stories: The Mission Most of the scores would actually be fairly short so it'd probably be less discs than you'd think looking at the list. But it'd be a handsome collection of '70s TV music. (The one I’m not sure about is the Name Of The Game episode which has two composers listed, so possibly that had a tracked score?) |

With the exception of the Selinsky, which I don't recall being that memorable, I'd second all those choices. (A multiple volume boxset series of Universal TV would also be cause for celebration.) |

DUEL remains one of my top TV score Grails, and is long-overdue for a release! ![]() |

"" has been a requested title by myself for a long time now. My main problems, thinking about it, are: It's too short; what would you pair it with? Not necessarily another score by him; I think a score in a similar vein, by another composer, would help sell the CD. While I love it, and there certainly are other lovers, too, I can't say with any kind of certainty how it will sell. |

As with Disney scores, Universal TV scores are an almost endless goldmine. I imagine that the toughest part is deciding how to release each of them. Intrada's Amazing Stories/Battlestar Galactica approach is ideal if all-in-one sets are out of the question. But, given his distinction in being more hands-on with how scores to his works are released, a Spielberg-centric release of Universal TV scores seems like a good exception to that method. |

Yep, I'm in if any of those are ever released, especially the Bernstein episode of Owen Marshall! ![]() |
