To my knowledge, the LP program has only ever appeared on CD in Japan. One of the rare occasions when the composer worked outside MGM in the '50's. |

It's one of my favorite Rozsa scores. I have the Decca LP from 1958. A Universal International film. |

I will bump up any request for Rozsa. I consider him to be my first foray into the "fine art" of film score music. Being a child of the 80's (well, mid-70's but who's counting) I can thank FSM for introducing me to his work on CD, and I have been hooked ever since. It is refreshing to hear where certain stylistic influences from composers I have loved growing up came from - truly a master of music. Miklos Rozsa is an instant buy for my ever expanding appreciation of the orchestral form. |
