Since Intrada has been raiding the Disney vaults in the last year, any possibility for the original tracks of the above? (I'll be devastated if Roger tells me Varese owns the rights even though they only released a truncated re-recording!) |

A great Bernstein score. Ahhhh... memories of the 80's when big name composers were turning in spectacular scores to animated movies. Thanks for bringing this up... hopefully one day it will be released. |

The Black Cauldron would be a very inspired choice. But at the same time, I think it's just because the Varese release leaves much to be desired (I was disappointed they left off the track used in the final battle between Taran and the Horned King). |

Of course, were Intrada to release Black Cauldron, it'd likely be the one time I'd really want the 'album' version (as it's a rerecording) but they'd be unable to... |

Don't know if it's changed but in the past it's been stated that Disney isn't licensing out their animated scores to others yet has discontinued releasing complete (or near complete) scores to its animated films. |
