As the DVD of this movie has been released, and Intrada has an extensive association with Universal, this might be a possibility. The more gaps in the Rosenman discography filled in, the better! |

Yes... Any Rosenman is an excellent choice. When something like PROPHECY was finally released... the hope for THE CAR immediately jumped up for hope. I mention it every once in a while... And, let us not forget another great horror/action/road picture... RACE WITH THE DEVIL...

Yes The Car (a poor mans Christine) that is as fun and has a great score and creepy main theme motif used long before The Shining...It even was made 6 years before Christine (go figure) This would be a blast to see get the Intrada treatment as they haven´t really visited that genre since The Entity (YeahYeah , I know I forgot about House of Usher  )Hasn´t Race with the Devil vanished or being destroyed or something like that?? Creepy movie alas and a great grindhouse movie... |

That main theme motif is none other than the "Dies Irae", used by countless composers throughout the ages, to denote the Devil and all his works. I think Rosenman's tongue was slightly in his cheek on this occasion! |

Terrific score. And the End Title for movie just rocks. Plain and simple. Hope that Intrada might be able to do a release of this someday (if Universal is willing and the master tapes didn't go up in smoke during the vault fire). |
