What about a complete score release of this masterpiece?!!!.
The movie offers lots of unreleased cues! Hancock and his band were 'at the top'
on this project, fine compositions, excellent performances; funk + jazz + percussions + vintage keyboards treatments + big orchestra + etc...(!!!)
Probably one of the 'most sampled' soundtracks of the history, surely one of the most famous/important movies of the 70's.
I'm definitely waiting for this Intrada release, and i know i'm not alone in that case. 8)

Yes, you're not alone! I would buy a release of the film version of the score in a heartbeat! :D

Don't know if there are problems with the rights because of the famous LP!?

sorry, i have to insist, this release is an ESSENTIAL one;
you'll sell it easily to soundtracks fans and also to jazz fans.
Think about that! (and release it now) :D

I would definitely be interested in Herbie Hancock's Death Wish.

The author of the novel, Brian Garfield, wrote the story with Jack Lemmon as Paul Kersey in mind. His belief was the average street thug would think twice about messing with someone who looked as tough as Charles Bronson. Everytime I think of Death Wish I remember this and agree the film would have would been better cast with Jack Lemmon.

I mentioned this on another forum once and you would have thought I insulted someones entire bloodline. :lol:
