Maurice Jarre's rousing score to FIREFOX i think would make a great release!

A lot of people agree on this one... Just watched it recently... The music was top notch.

Yes, that´s my favourite Jarre. I also like the movie. I wrote this here for a few times and as I remember, Clint Eastwood has the rights to it. But when even Slipstream was officially released, I hope for this. It´s nice to see this title to be mentioned regularly :-)

I've always loved the theme tune,
and would jump at the chance of getting a copy of this score! :D

Absolutely.

I'd buy, as long as they don't forget that three-note theme for the aircraft itself when we first see it at Bilyarsk. If I remember right, it's all synth and so ominously cool that it's just got to be on the album. Speaking of which, the story as I understand it is that Jarre turned in a lot more music than Eastwood wound up using. I wonder if there's a chance that any theoretical release could incorporate the unused portion. The nagging question is, "Is there enough to constitute a full Intrada release", and I don't know the answer.

(Now, we'll have to talk Doug & Co. into including the Laserdisc video game on CD/DVD and then we'll have a perfect two-disc set.)

Superb recording of the "Firefox" theme on Tadlow's "Lawrence of Arabia" release - it's worth it!

I would like to think that one of our beloved labels are hard at work on this title, it would fit right in withe the upcoming Blu-Ray and as this ranks high on many peoples list, don´t you think there is a chance for this??

Not my favorite Jarre score (that would be Witness), but I would pick this up in a heartbeat.
