Intrada Soundtrack Forum

A masterpiece in electronic+orchestral music!!
Hard to describe this score, it's just very tortured and inventive, like the movie.
Even several tracks been released on the compilation "Dead Ringers: Music From The Films Of David Cronenberg"
(Silva screen, 1992), the whole score is much more longer! Amazing tracks are missing from the selection.
Somewhere between "Videodrome" (electronics) and "The fly" (orchestral), this is one of the earliest Shore's works for Cronenberg,
and one the greatest, that really deserves an Intrada complete edition

O BOY, Scanners is a great movie with a great score...LOVE IT and consider this to be the Cronnenberg/Shore score that after The FLY is their second best colaboration
Would love to have an official release of this one but Shore isn´t a composer I see alot of elder releases from (this and An Innocent Man perhaps )

Just to brag, I have Scanners on a 70x100 poster on the wall with Mr Michael Ironside´s autograph
