2023 will be the 35th anniversary of when the miniseries aired in January 1988.

It would be wonderful if Intrada can license the music from the Disney vaults and assemble an album of this terrific Lalo Schifrin score.

For what it's worth when I communicated privately with Roger a month or so ago (and I don't think Roger will mind me sharing this), he confirmed that Intrada still hasn't been able to break into the Disney TV vaults. I hope that changes, but until it does I think there's little point in setting one's hopes on this (or for me to set my hopes on a release for Carl Johnson's amazing orchestral scoring for Gargoyles, or a Shirley Walker Disney TV twofer with The Love Bug and Fluppy Dogs, or the Ron Jones DuckTales which Intrada already actively pursued years back and discovered was a dead end).

Well, more power to ya! Hopefully some day things change. I remember how big a deal it was 13 years ago when Paramount opened up. Before that it seemed like we’d never get expansions or premieres of any of those great Paramount owned scores.
