Well... wouldn't THAT be deserving a full deluxe Intrada treatment?

The Varèse CD is great, but still missing a few snippets. Actually, there's only one of these snippets that I sorely miss (as Gator McReady knows...). That's the "sneaking out of the airplane" cue. It's the cheesiest cue from the entire film, but wonderfully cheesy

While the Varèse sounds good, Intrada could give the percussion/tubas/trombones the "48 Hrs. punch" and mix the woodwinds a bit stronger

They could even include the Power Station end credits song. And include the original poster art with the "correct" color code for the title...

That (and "Another 48 Hrs." of course) would definitely and nicely round out Horner's 80's action music... PLUS the Varèse is long out of print and fetches quite some prices...

In short - please go all "Predator" on Commando

I stupidly sold off my Varese CD years ago... I'm in love with Horner's action mode of scoring again, after the 48 Hrs. / Gorky Park revival recently.

I'd definitely buy this. The airplane cue is a must. And I'd also appreciate the original poster art.

This would be a great addition to the release of 48 hrs... and Gorky Park as of late. Fond memories... never got the Varese version of it... it sold out the day I went to order it years ago.

Bring it on...

I think I will be watching this tonight... Rae Dawn Chong was so funny in this movie.

Next week, La-La Land Records is releasing Commando with over 60 minutes of score and the awesome Power Station song. This year is somehow getting even better.

Holy Shit - I thought this was a wind up - seems it's true!!! Yikes, better not tell the wife how much I've spent on cd's this month...

This is 48hrs littlebrother and goes hand in hand with Intradas lovely release.
I knew it was a good move not to buy Commando from e-bay, and after Predator arrived from Intrada, I had my suspicions that Commando would follow lead (next will be Die Hard and maybe Ghostbusters)
Commando is too cool for school and is a score that must be played LOUD...

I´ll muscle anybody for a CD next week, now I must go let of some steam

We were all just talking about this a while ago. 2011 is certainly looking like one of the best years for releases. Wonder what Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas will bring? Better start saving now.
