Hi, Would love to see an expanded release of the Harold Faltermeyer classics: Fletch / Fletch Lives Beverly Hills Cop Series Top Gun Although very much a product of their times, these scores paved the way for a new generation of film composers. On a lighter note: How good and "out there" was his score for "Cop Out"!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

YES! ![]() Both: BEVERLY HILLS COP and BEVERLY HILLS COP II, are definitely on my GRAILS list! ![]() It always annoyed me as to just how little of those Scores made the Albums, for instance: the rather brilliant: "Shoot Out" - which only appeared as a B-SIDE on the Singles of : THE HEAT IS ON and AXEL F. |

We could always use more Harold F. scores. I'm not sure if everyone here read it, but an interview conducted about a year ago () indicated that Harold was in talks with La-La Land Records in working on the complete scores for Fletch and/or Beverly Hills Cop. Whatever new release it is, we need something from him ASAP. ![]() |

LLLR corrected that info from that interview, in a post asking them about it, at FSM. The interview wasn't accurate. |

I'd love to see the BHC's and the original Fletch scores get full releases. ![]() IMHO they represent his finest work - particularly Fletch ![]() |
