Hi,

Just wanted to know if Michael Kamen is gonna get some love

Seriously, though Michael Kamen was an amazing human being and it is evidenced by how so many movie houses
use his music in their trailers, i.e Disney, Imax,etc.

The Lethal Weapon series deserves attention. The score has never fully been released. You have Eric Clapton, David Sanborn, Sonny Emory,
Greg Phillinganes and others throughout the series which makes for some serious listening along with Kamen's fantasic orchestrations. The music is at all moody as it is hip.

There is also Highlander but I am unsure as to when that score will see light of day.

A 1000 times yes!!

I would like to see some Lethal Weapon and Die Hard releases.

For me, the ones I would like to see the INTRADA treatment done to the most are:

DIE HARD
LICENCE TO KILL

both would be great sellers!

This year, I think we will enjoy some reissue of the great composer because it will be honored at the next Festival of Ubeda ( Spain ).

Yes Kamen was a BIG composer that sadly hasn´t gotten much released as of late and he made alot of music to BIG movies that was amazing.

are among some Kamen that i really like.
much unreleased or in need of expansion
Best is ofcourse Highlander which is the A-list movie I crave the most on a complete score release

Robin Hood needs an expanded release for sure, now that is a score I'd rob from the rich.

Road House is one of those films for me that is sooo bad it's good. Very typical film of the 80's, which is why it's a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm glad to see Intrada are on the case anyway, will be ordering that

Indeed Road Hosue would be a nice one. I presume Roger is talking about the reel containing the two big action pieces from the movies third act?

would EVENT HORIZON be an option?
the original album is pretty messed up with all the tracks being mixed into suites. plus there's A LOT of great unreleased stuff.

Also DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. I think everybody knows the story here (short OST, tons of unreleased material)...

Event Horizon was released by Paramount so hopefully that shouldn't be an issue, maybe.

As for Die Hard w/a Vengeance that would great.

This would be hard to release a Highlander soundtrack without Queen, since they are a so crucial part of the musical storytelling of the movie. This must be a major difficulty to get the rights that include themes from the very popular Queen album " Kind of Magic".
I guess Roger would indeed need a kind of magic for that to happen...

Good interview that I was never aware of.

Robin Hood and Die Hard with a Vengeance are in desperate need of significant expansion.

A Lethal Weapon set would be much appreciated, and Licence to Kill is the only Bond expansion that I would really consider buying given how unsatisfactory the current album is.

Nothing but Trouble and Action Jackson (I love Herbie Hancock's contributions in providing that jazz-funk sound) are lesser-known scores that I would buy in an instant.

There is a lot of Kamen for the labels to work on.
