With the releases of Gator (with Jerry Reed vocals) and White Lightening, are there any chances that you guys might be visiting in the future the soundtracks for the Smokey and The Bandit series? Would be nice to see and hear these OST's remastered on a legit CD release!

I'm not much of a fan of country & western, but I'd buy the first two Smokey albums as they're a lot of fun (music to drive badly to!). I can't think why UMG haven't released them themselves, I'm sure they'd be good sellers.

Another one here, who dislikes C&W music, but loves these soundtracks!.

I think that they were quite remarkable, and must surely feature some of the largest amounts of original songs, written for a NON-MUSICAL film series.

The legendary: "Eastbound And Down", performed by (the late, great) Jerry Reed,
is one of the best uses of a soundtrack song in the 1970's.

The scoring for the films, is great fun too.

Can I also give a shout-out for: CONVOY and THE CANNONBALL RUN ?,
another two similar soundtracks, which also feature a great main title song.

Please also add 'Hooper' to the above mentioned

SATB 1,2 & 3, Hooper and Cannonball Run I & II. The ultimate "Burt Box"

Hopefully someday this will be given a proper release. My tape is worn out.
