THE OCTAGON - Composed by Richard Halligan (1980)

As many of you allready know, one of my most sought after grails is the score to the 1980 Chuck Norris movie THE OCTAGON.
The movie is a childhood favourite of mine and much has to do with Richard Halligans fabulous music.
The score's got action, suspence and even a bit of romantic themes and a fantastic End Credits cue.

It's the same company that originally produced the movie back in 1980, so they should still have the master elements (I hope).

A 1000 copy Special Collection or Signature Edition perhaps. :wink:

I thought I would make a fun and unusual approach to this request.
The artwork has already been created for your enjoyment, now all we need
is the original motion picture score to go along with it. :mrgreen:

I enjoyed the end title cue quite a bit. Never heard of the film or composer, but you can sign me up to buy a potential copy!

Now I will go and hang myself in nearest palmtree if Intrada doesnt make a reprint of that CD stat...

What better time to release this masterpiece than now.

Gorilla Pictures have remastered and are working on a 30:th Anniversary DVD/BluRay release of THE OCTAGON in 2012.

Roger, Doug quick snapp up the rights to a soundtrack release.

This score is very much worthy of a CD release. It should easily appeal to a wide enough audience.

I would like to know what Doug and Roger think about this one.

Absolutely this is friggin awesome

Here is such a variety of themes by Halligan and it has a cool sounding groove and if people do not like this kind of filmmusic, I do not know what to believe.
If I knew how, I would pick up the rights and release thisone myself (or along with Freejack)
This NEEDS to see the world and not be forgotten...

Come on Intrada and try out some adrenalin Halligan!!!

Just ordered my BluRay copies of THE OCTAGON, A FORCE OF ONE and GOOD GUYS WEAR BLACK...
But i ordered them from Australia because they had better artwork (the original posters).

Hope Richard Halligan's score to THE OCTAGON is on Roger and Doug's radar. :wink:

Just saw this movie recently and yes I did enjoy the score and I'd like to see it released to CD.

Love the imaged artwork. Maybe Intrada will take those into consideration.
