Intrada Soundtrack Forum

Is there any possibility for a re-release of this great score? Or maybe some expanded version? It is sold on e-bay usually for 50 USD or more. Does Intrada stil have the rights for it?

I love this, I was listening to it on my ipod in London's Underground today. There's the LP program, & becouse it's not very long, Intrada edited a suite (just under 13mins long) from the tracks, at the end, & that suite is so well put together, in fact it's all I put in the ipod. Was it done buy DF?

There is certainly more music in the movie than appears on the album. (Even the Main Titles are left out, though to be fair that material does appear in a similar form on the album.) Considering the shortness of the original LP, it would make a good match with another Jarre score of the same period, also released by Colgems Records at the time, THE PROFESSIONALS. (Yes, I know Silva released thie latter title about 20 years ago but, since the only available source was the vinyl itself, new technology may improve the sound even more.)
