I wonder if there is enough stuff for a score release on CD, since the movie concerned about Michael Jackson's songs and performance. Anyway, when I listened to Broughton's Suite from Moonwalker (from a Telarc CD) it impressed me very much. Wonderful Bruce Broughton!

It's weird. I consider myself a pretty big Bruce Broughton fan but never really liked the score to this film? video? concept promo?
I'm not a huge fan of the main theme and a lot of the score, to me, sounds like outtakes from Monster Squad or similar efforts by the composer. It always just sounded uninspired to me.
There's been plenty of boots, made from the session tapes, available over the years, which contain anything between 20-35 minutes of music.
I can think of plenty other Broughton scores I'd want released before this. Sorry :)

Not to mention it could definitely serve well as an MAF release, simply because it's Michael Jackson. :)

I love this score too ! It always makes me shiver and the telarc suite is indeed gorgeous.
Michael Jackson has always had really good taste for the scores of his videos/movies, or at least his directors (even if I believe he had the final word) :

Thriller (Elmer Bernstein)
Captain EO (James Horner)
Moonwalker (Bruce Broughton)
Ghosts (Nicholas Pike)



It should be great to have all of these scores on 1 CD ! I would buy this so BADly ! [Vincent Price impression] Mouahahahahaha... :twisted:
