Since Pendulum went out of business, I'd imagine the rights for this may be up for grabs. I also suspect a complete (or expanded) release of this score, with Intrada's fantastic remastering, would sell like hotcakes. There is a fair amount of great music not on the OST, and the score is long out of print on CD, fetching ridiculous amounts on eBay and the like. Could be a winner for you guys (and me) |

Yes! Could be a 2CD set including Cocoon (1985) / Cocoon: The Return (1988). All re-mastered from superior sources and expanded material. 1200 copies/Signature editions. |

Bump! Currently listening to my copy (PEG re-release) and I was thinking: I'm a lucky one but COCOON should widely available. Everyone should be able to buy this one at a decent $19,99 price IMHO. I hope Intrada will re-release it, even as a simple re-issue. About 'Gravity', please put it at the end of the disc as a bonus as it kills the narration in the middle of the album. Thanks Doug! |

This could definitely use another release with expansion and pristine sound quality. The album rights appear to be with UMG since the original release was through Polydor Records and the latter release through PEG, both of PolyGram which itself later became part of UMG. So, at the outset this seems quite doable for Intrada. I completely agree with placing the awkward Michael Sembello song at the end. Including a complete presentation of Cocoon: The Return would have added a little incentive, but that appears to be with Varese as they are currently selling the album on iTunes. No big loss, in my opinion. |

Speaking of James Horner and redoing old Polydor albums, it would be nice if Intrada put together a complete song and score CD for The Pursuit of D.B. Cooper. |

I'd love to see a re-release of this, if Varese doesn't have perpetual rights to it. I don't have it yet. |
