Three great 80s soundtracks that are extremely hard to obtain.

It seems that only 500 copies of Brad Fiedel's Fright Night soundtrack were ever printed and if I'm not mistaken the sequel didn't even get an official OST.
The Savage Streets soundtrack (featuring some catchy tunes by John Farnham) was only released on cassette and LP.

I'd love to hear them again!

None of the Fright Night scores have been released officially.

The Japanese 500 print of Fright Night is a bootleg.

Would especially love a release of Part 2, love that Main Title theme.

Part 1 is owned by Columbia Pictures, (rumor has it that it is a lost score.)
Part 2 is/was owned by Vista International Pictures. (Bankruped.)

Fright Night's masters -- according to Roger -- are missing. It's a sad story, indeed.

I didn't know the 500 released albums were bootlegs. Thanks for clearing that up!

Yes i agree,Fright Night part 2 is better than the first...
I hope that someday Intrada will released this score
I love Fright Night part 2 soundtrack,it's a very good work on synthesizer with electric guitar!!

Yeah the theme at the beginning (main title theme) when Charlie is running home to get rid of all his vampirehunter equipment is the best in that movie. The movie lacks what made the original one of the best horror and THE BEST vampire movies from the 80´s but has an excellent score by Fiedel to make up for it.
If the first Fright Night is lost, atleast give us the sequel score After the original Terminator, this is Fiedels finest...

Sadly he is an underrated composer that did great music to The Accused, Let´s get Harry, Gladiator (better than Goldsmiths rejected score) and some moody horrortitles like Night School, Just before Dawn and Final Terror...
Sadly he is only remembered for Terminator and Fright Night..

I agree with all statements above. Fiedel is one of the most neglected composers from the 80’s. And since so many of us are fond of his work, Intrada could consider make more of his works available. Any of the above mentioned titles will be a welcome surprise.

Please Intrada! Give us a Brad Fiedel Title.
