Since Intrada has released a few Bruce Broughton scores, I'm hoping that maybe they'll eventually be able to release this complete score on CD. This is one of my favorite scores. I have the Percepto release, but a mere 500 copies of this beautiful score just seems like a crime. And maybe they could improve the sound quality a little bit and remove some of that hiss that's present on the Percepto release. Would anyone else be interested in this score? I'd buy a reissue. |

I missed out on the Percepto as well, but I managed to find it on ebay for less than 30 bucks some weeks ago, so I'm the happy owner of this real masterpiece ! One of my favorite scores of all time, truly... |

Yeah I was really impressed too... in fact I was very lucky... The CD is in perfect condition and I listen to it very often now... This score is just amazingly moving and uplifting... I truly miss Bruce Broughton, I really wish he could go back to a big screen movie, it's been 12 years since the terrific Lost in Space now... |

Any news or a possible re-release? It's one of the very few Broughton I do not have (I missed the Percepto as I did not realise it was a different recording from the Varese VD) so I'd buy instanty: |

Count me in as well. It is a lovely score by BB. The Nick Castle directed movie is a real gem, and provided further proof of his excellent relationship with his composers... LAST STARFIGHTER (Craig Safan). With the long line of Intrada releases for this gifted composer (Bruce Broughton), I would hope that one day that it would come out??? Hint hint hint. |
