This is one of the last genre soundtracks that I am just dying to get. Hopefully it will see some kind of release, some day.

nice movie, here known as THE BLACK CAR. I didn't remember the music so I've just refreshed my memory on youtube.
The main titles clearly mention the Totentanz by Liszt and Rosenman builds upon the classic theme with atonal competence.
(by the way, W.Carlos would do the same in Shining with a totally different approach).

Unfortunately, after my unwise purchase of Prophecy (that music drove me to a terrible headache!) I am not so inclined to gambling again on Rosenman...
