I just watched this flick again last night for the first time in probably over 25 years. It was a favorite from my youth, so you know how that can go either way. Usually, "Why did I love this so much?" But, this really hit the spot for me. Granted, I wasn't looking too hard for flaws, but I think it's pretty entertaining. I think this score is amazing, but edited to shreds. (particularly The Valley Chase cue) There also appeared to be much music not included on the LP release. It seems to me, very easy to see how Kevin Costner selected John Barry for Dances With Wolves. We need a release of this score - expanded - and hopefully it's just a matter of time.
