There must be crap holding up Conan, otherwise I think we would have seen it by now.  My biggest worry is one day reading: "(BLANK) Announces: CONAN THE BARBARIAN 2CD (complete)" Followed by: "This new re-recording..." (ditto all thoughts above for "The Ten Commandments") |

I don’t mind if was a re-recording. It could be the next “Excalibur Collection”. Conducted by Bruce Broughton, Performed by The National Philharmonic Orchestra.

A Conan 2 disc'er seems to be most soundtrack collectors desire, I know I'll be pre-ordering one when it finally gets a release. It's just got to be in the pipeline somewhere surely... |

I don't think there is any need to worry if you ever see XXX presents Conan the Barbarian re-recording by XY well... nobody can force you to buy it, you know I'd much rather have a brilliant new recording by Tadlow or Tribute than being forced to stick to the old poorly recorded releases lacking at least 40% of the score. |

No, but it pretty much DESTROYS the chance of a release the complete, original tracks. And that's wrong... Hey, Townsend said he promised North before his death that he'd do big things for "Spartacus", and he did. Did he ever make any promises to Bail on Conan... (wishful hoping) |

That the Rome orchestra recording the score had some difficulties getting the music right has nothing to do with the Varese or Milan as the overall albums. |
