Yes, it's been requested for a while now, but I thought I'd bring back interest!

I saw this movie for the first time a few days ago. What can I say, it's EXCELLENT! *air guitar*

Okay, it's a really fun and campy movie. I love it. And I love David Newman as well. This dude's style of scoring that he did in the late 80s really grabs at me somehow - though it's probably no surprise that you guys know this about me already (that is, if you saw the Brave Little Toaster thread that I made on FSM a few months ago...).

It would be very bodacious if Intrada would look into this score and hopefully get it released.


And in the meantime, we shall be excellent to each other.

Can't happen soon enough. Got a boot years ago, tried to make a tracklisting to the film. Found a number of cues were different, or even just so different I couldn't match them up to the film at all.

Original recordings, alternate cues later for the finished film, and the two source cues (Joan of Arc praying, and the digitial piano Beethoven plays in the store), would make a 2CD set easily, but not completely. Was there ever a "Bill & Ted" the ride at a theme park, with music?

Was the one-season lived live-action series with scores by Nathan Wang, good scoring?

Did Newman ever di a suite or a concert version?

Some ideas to fill out the second CD.


Hell, that song that opens the film is actually enjoyable -- I wouldn't be apposed to that thrown in at the end of CD2.
