![]() Expect all, or most, labels to give that sort of reponse. I know the great and kind MV Gerard always says something to the effect of, "It's a possibility." ![]() ![]() |

The 20-year-old Varese CD presents the tracks as follows. 1. Main Title (02:42) 2. First Carnage (02:36) 3. Tunnel Chase (04:49) 4. Truly Dead (04:54) 5. Danny Gets It (03:17) 6. Rest In Pieces (01:30) 7. El Scorpio (02:39) 8. This Is History (06:25) 9. Swinging Rude Boys (02:35) 10. Dem Bones (04:26) 11. End Title (08:45) Total Duration: 00:44:38 But an expanded, chronological CD would be: 1. Main Title (02:42) 2. El Scorpio (02:39) 3. First Carnage (02.36) 4. Swinging Rude Boys (02:35) 5. Voodoo Posse Massacre (????) 6. The Penthouse (????) 7. Danny Gets It (????) -Film and 1990 CD version are completely different. 8. Truly Dead (04:54) 9. Rest in Pieces (01:30) 10. Subway Carnage (????) 11. Tunnel Chase (????)-Shortened for the 1990 CD 12. Slaughterhouse Fight (????) 13. Surgery (????) 14. Dem Bones (04:26) 15. Predators (????) 16. End Title (08:45) Total Duration would be just under 80 minutes and would fit on a single CD. |

Nice idea. I've just been listening to the Predator 2 score for the first time - love it - but as I haven't seen the movie recently it all seemed in place (and brought the memories flooding back!)... Then they showed the movie on TV a couple of days later but I missed it. Still, an extended version would be awesome! The current score is a tad on the quiet side, too. But I agree it's a brilliant score. I see Predators doesn't involve Alan Silvestri. They have Mr Fishburne (which is ace) but Silvestri would be the pulling factor that would make me go see it in the cinema. It's a shame they don't often cater for the soundtrack lovers! Want some candy? Yes, ear candy please ![]() |

Now that Intrada have worked their magic on Predator perhaps we can finally get a remastered, expanded Predator 2? Please, please, please. |

I'm sure Intrada will do it IF Varese didn't get the rights in perpetuity like they did for example on Robocops 2 & 3. If it's a case like Predators or RoboCop I feel sure they'll follow their Predator release up with the sequel. Maybe Roger can chime in... Yavar |

I'm crossing my fingers for an expanded Pred 2 as well. I think the Predator hype is on again. And with Intrada kind enough to re-release the Pred sdtk I'm sure the sequel score won't be too far behind. ![]() |

Nice idea. But why only 5 more tracks? it might not be enough to consider an expanded release. 21 or 29 would be nice. even if they are short cues, less than a minute. Im all for an expanded release! |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYVFZzo-Qzk Ray Pizzi has a short, but interesting story on the instrument. I thought I exchange three or four e-mails with him, but I can't find them for the story. There are no speakers on the computers I have access to now (as I result I am unable to sample any new score releases, and have been unable to do so since the beginning of July), so I can't re-listen, but as I recall that sound is the same one heard at least twice in "Eraser" (I think both instances are in one of the suites I made and pout up on YouTube). |

Ok folks I finished watching Pred 2. I just want to let you all know that I am most like be off a few seconds here and there. This is due to the SFX and I couldn't really hear some of the music that would fad in and/or out. ![]() So I believe the entire score runs around a little over 76 minutes from the film. I think some of the previous Varese tracks were edited and these selections were slightly longer in the film. I hope this helps a little, and crossing fingers again ![]() Thanks everyone. ![]() |

If Varese holds the rights in perpetuity, and doesn't want to release them, I predict maybe one day a few years from now, we'll get an expanded from them. hopefully not the kind of mastering their "Predator" got and hopefully not quite as limited. |
