I just like to put in a good word for this 1973 gem. Invasion of the Bee Girls I' had never heard of this title but found a clip on Youtube containing a glimpse of Bernstein's score. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjfBpEgZ0Sc I hope Intrada will continue their Charles Bernstein collaboration in the future because he's getting close to be my new favourite composer. I just bought this film as part of the Midnite Movies MGM release. I had no idea Charles Bernstein did the score to this one... I would hope it is a good candidate for a future INTRADA release. |

"Invasion Of The Bee Girls" made the rounds at the drive-in years ago. Remember seeing it several times. It really is a hoot. The guy who played "Otis The Drunk" in the Andy Griffith show gets boffed by one of the Bee Girls I'm almost certain. Definitely a drive-in classic! |
