With the all the titles INTRADA has rescued from the MGM Cannon Vaults,
Chattaway's Invasion USA & Missing in Action 1 + 3, Ragland's 10 To Midnight, Silvestri's Delta Force,
Young's Invaders from Mars , May's Missing In Action 2, Donaggio's Hercules
and now the upcoming Dov Seltzer Seven Magnificent Gladiators
What's next from the cool groovy vaults of Cannon.
If I may recomend a score from 1976.
Before Cannon was Cannon, the two founders Menahem Golan & Yoram Globus
created a lowbudget cheesy Lee Van Cleef VS Jack Palance western called GOD'S GUN.
The music for this good old western was composed by Sante Maria Romitelli.
Here's a couple of sneak previews of the score from the DVD.
I was in contact with the founder of the swedish soundtrack label FIN DE SIECLE MEDIA,
about releasing this treasure of a score since they had released a couple of other Romitelli scores.
They investigated the matter but found out that the masters for GOD'S GUN was missing from the Italian Romitelli Vaults.
But to my surprise the movie was released about a year ago on DVD
in the UK by MGM and had a Cannon logo.
So my hope now lies with INTRADA to make my wish come true.
Maybe Romitelli's score lies within the US Vaults of MGM Cannon.
Try the clips and you tell me if this good'old western is worthy of a
score release before the music is gone forever.
