Oh yes Freaky Friday would be great ! You'll be glad to read that Rolfe Kent told me recently that a score release of 17 Again (splendid score by the way !) was planned for this autumn. There had been a songs soundtrack but no Kent music on it, unfortunately ! Rolfe didn't told me the label or any other detail... |

Just to let you know that Charlie St Cloud, the latest Rolfe Kent CD release (rare enough to be all mentioned) by Varèse Sarabande, is a completely splendid score !! In a very Forrest Gump fashion, Rolfe Kent explores the life of his character throughout various emotions : action/epic music for racing and sailing sequences, tender guitar for intimate brothers relationship moments, sweeping and very Barriesque main theme that continuously evolves with story... I've been profoundly moved by this score, everything on this CD is just perfect and grand and ultimately shivering. Rolfe Kent is definitely a composer to follow very closely ! |
