I'm not immensely familiar with Leigh Harline's music outside of the LaLaLand Lost in Space 2-disc set and the 1953 Samuel Fuller noir classic, Pickup on South Street. I first saw this film fairly recently, and I loved the score, with its rambunctious title theme a major highlight. A 20th Century Fox/Fuller/Harline release has precedence with House of Bamboo. Would there be any chance of a release for this score? It would be a real treat. And for those unfamiliar, the film is quite good as well, and definitely worth checking out. |

Yeah, I had noticed that a couple days ago! What an incredible scene, too. Thelma Ritter did a marvelous job all the way through. |
