After reading the recent In Harms Way thread on re-issuing SLC Limited CDs, I've begun to hope that an Intrada SpaceCamp is something we could see in the future.

I love this movie dearly, and though I've already acquired a digital version of the SLC release, I'd buy a new CD version in a heartbeat. But, if it's ever in line for the future, could I ask about the possibility of adding the Joseph Williams' source songs that I assume were produced directly for the movie. There's no trace of them anywhere else, and I'd like to hear more of "American Girl" than the 21 clean seconds I was able to get from the film!

The appearance of his Anesthesia song on the recent FSM Twilight Zone: The Movie release has given me the hope this might be possible after all these years!

Intrada did release this soundtrack twice, but both times it was a straight-up reissue of the original soundtrack album (i.e. no extras). From what I've heard, apparently there are some rights issues with ABC over the unreleased cues? With regards to Joseph Williams' songs, two of them did appear on a compilation album in 2001, but it appears to be very rare (plus I don't know if it's a bootleg or not).

I'd also like to see a complete release of this soundtrack - the score plus the songs and any outtakes/alternates - especially seeing as Intrada and La-La Land have both reissued some of their previous scores with new extras (e.g. Bruce Broughton's 'The Monster Squad'). Let's hope the rights issues can be resolved.

Apparently so. What's interesting is that Straw Dogs posed no such problem. I suppose it is a matter of getting the right person at the right time.
