Okay... one down, one to go... NOMADS would be a great followup to the PREDATOR blockbuster. Why, may you ask? Director John McTiernan helmed both. In fact, NOMADS was the pic that got him the PREDATOR gig. ![]() |

Yes Nomads would be an excellent 1000-1200 CD release just as Cohen & Tate... C&T has obviously sold good as there are not many left , but there are still some for those that havent found out yet... Nomads is an odd movie and likewise the music as there are alot of elguitars in the score too, and doesn´t sound like the Conti we are used to, but that is a good thing. As his Cohen & Tate , Conti changes his style alot with this one and it is really a great score which gives the movie that eerie feeling... I know Doug said he didnt remember this one at all but would look at it out of curiosity. I hope it fell to his taste to persue this one to (I think MGM has it) and that this one is one of the 4 Conti titles they are working on now... |

Always liked the film "Nomads," but ask and I can't give you a good answer why - haven't seen it in years. Just a nice weird feeling that I remember. No recollection of the score, but when it comes to Conti, I'm willing to bite. Which reminds me, I had better order "Cohen & Tate" sooner, rather than later... |

I just watched BABY BOOM again, and I have to say it's one of my all time favorite scores. The scene where Diane Keaton gives the baby up for adoption and then decides to take the baby back to keep, the music there is very powerful, the melody, strings and piano are just wonderful. The whole score is wonderful as is the song EVERCHANGING TIMES. Every Conti score is a grail for me, but BABY BOOM is a grail among grails for me. I hope someday that this one is released. |
