This composer is gravely underrepresented on disc, with only one of his scores in existence on CD - "Frozen Assets" on the Colossal label, an offshoot of Varese Sarabande. I would love to start seeing his animation scores surface onto CD, but just about anything from Mr. Tavera would make me happy at this point. I believe he works primarily at Disney and Universal. For example, Rocketman or Mr. Magoo. Hope the Intrada crew considers this for the future; thanks for reading.

I agree with the suggestions of RocketMan and Mr. Magoo; those have been on my want list for some time now. Both are wild and fun comedy scores, each with fine, enjoyable main themes. I'd buy 'em. |

Yeah ! SONIC SatAM is definitely a very good score, with a strong heroic main theme (ala BACK TO THE FUTURE) typical from Michael Tavera, and a powerful villain theme, and excellent action/suspense tracks during the infiltration/espionage scenes in Robotropolis ! I continue to think that someone must release all this stuff, as this is probably one of the best work from Tavera ! For those who're interested to hear Tavera's music from SONIC SatAM, there are all the episodes on the net : |

I remember watching the show briefly and immediately loved Robotnik's theme with the supporting strings!

At Michael Tavera's website, there are definitely full cues from Rocketman, Mr. Magoo, and Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves--I don't know what the others are.
