Now that we've gotten Jay's final score to the Missing In Action Trilogy released,
it would be fun to continue the Chattaway frenzy with his super cool score
for the William Lustig thriller RELENTLESS (aka THE SUNSET KILLER).

Here's a preview of the Main Title cue from the DVD.


I don't know how the licensing works.
Does the original production company "Cinetel Pictures" still own the score,
or has the rights gone to Colombia-Tristar that released the 2004 DVD?

Well if it's Colombia then it maybe possible, remember "BODY DOUBLE".

I could go for that. Like to see the Vigilante score surface. I remember the poster for Vigilante credited a soundtrack recording on Fania records. I've looked all over and have never seen proof of it's existence.

are those Chattaway I would love to see get its release.
Maniac Cop and Silver Bullet got LP releases and Bullet also had a Club release on CD, but Vigilante and Relentless never had any at all.
A funny thing is, that almost all of those titles were directed by William Lustig (except Silver Bullet) and he used to temp his movies with music from Morricone which is evident especially in RELENTLESS
(see a particular death scene and compare it with The Untouchables death scene to see my point)

Yes, this and the MANIAC COP's he scored would be great. It has been a while since anything has come out. Let us not forget his many years of STAR TREK universe he scored...
